71Five Parents Coordinator
I admire and love working with teens and young parents. I grew up watching teen parents, as my parents were teens when they had me.
I believe that we all have a lot to learn and that there is power in learning from each other. We need each other. Parents have an instrumental role in the life of their child. We all struggle to know how to be a parent; it is difficult, and we face challenges often. We must rely on the Lord to show us the way.
My husband Chris and I have been married since June 2009. We have two sons and a daughter together, and I am a stepmom to one daughter. We love animals and enjoy our dogs and cats and bunny rabbits. I am a writer and an artist. I have worked in the human services realm for over 10 years, and I have been a homeschool and co-op teacher and tutor to children as well in all subjects for Elementary-Middle School. I started my service for the Lord at 71Five Parents in May of 2023.
As good as this all sounds, I assure you I am another sinner at the feet of Jesus, just like everyone else.
I want to invite you to join in sharing hope with 71Five Parents!
The Lord wants to use you as a light in our community.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” [Matthew 5:13-16]
You are also called to this work! “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” [Mark 16:15]
The way that the Lord does his work is through his body, which includes you!
With Love, Breanna Stoutenburgh
